We are saddened to report that former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away this evening at her home in Houston, Texas. Her husband, former President George H. W. Bush, grew up in Greenwich and the two were married in Rye, New York 73 years ago. Over the years, they would come to Greenwich to support various causes and visit with family. One of the most beloved First Ladies, regardless of political affiliation, she will be remembered for her humor, strength and devotion to her family.
