According to an update from the Greenwich Police Department, the parking ban will be lifted at noon on Thursday. Additionally, utility crews are continuing to work to restore power to affected areas of town.

Residents are responsible to remove snow from the sidewalks in front of their property within 18 hours of a snow storm, per Town of Greenwich Ordinance.

The Town Civic Center, Public Safety Complex, and the Round Hill Church Community House will be open today as warming shelters.

With the heavy, wet snow, there’s a high risk of falling trees, branches and power lines. All downed trees or blocked streets should be reported immediately, and downed wires should be avoided. Emergency hotlines are listed below:

  • Aquarion Water Company 1-800-732-9678
  • Eversource 1-800-286-2000
