As of 7:45 a.m., this morning, there were eight roads closed in the Town of Greenwich due to downed trees and wires, according to an update released by the Greenwich Police Department. Additionally, Eversource is reporting that approximately 5 percent of customers are without power around town.

Residents should take note that with the heavy, wet snow, there’s a high risk of falling trees, branches and power lines. All downed trees or blocked streets should be reported immediately, and downed wires should be avoided. Emergency hotlines are listed below:
