(UPDATED: Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10 a.m.) The storm that blew into Greenwich yesterday that caused some rain, some snow and a lot of wind might be winding down, but the damage it left has been extensive.

According to the Greenwich Police Department, numerous roads remain closed, especially north of the Merritt Parkway. There are 150 known locations with downed tree, telephone poles or wires and the Greenwich Police Department recommends residents stay home this morning so crews can work on cleanup activities.

According to the Eversource power map, there are currently 6,122 people without power and that equals 22% of the customers served. Eversource also states there is no known timetable for power to be restored.
