On Tuesday, Feb. 27, YWCA Greenwich presents “Looking In Theatre,” a program of the Greater Hartford Academy of Arts and the Capitol Region Educational Council.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month, and the YWCA is hosting this event as a way to engage youth and their parents to address this topic. The Looking In Theater will present a series of short dramatic scenes that explore healthy and unhealthy relationships; especially maintaining boundaries, use of social media and technology and bystander intervention. Each scene will be followed by a discussion in which the actors stay in character while answering questions from the audience. The program is designed for high school and college students, parents and service providers who specialize in issues teens are facing.

The event takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the YWCA Greenwich, 259 East Putnam Ave. The program is free and pizza and refreshments will be served. Reserve your seat at ywcagreenwich.org/lookingintheatre
