Members of the Greenwich Firefighters Local 1042, Group 3, delivered holiday cheer along with hundreds of dollars’ worth of toys to the Pediatric Department at Greenwich Hospital.

The Greenwich Fire Department tradition began 14 years ago after the birth of firefighter Daniel Natale’s daughter at Greenwich Hospital. Now each year, the firefighters present gifts to the Pediatric Department to bring holiday cheer to hospitalized children and their families.

“Our goal each year is to find no children in the hospital during the holidays,” said Natale. “We look forward to this visit from the members of the Greenwich Fire Department each year. Their kindness and generosity are very much appreciated,” said Anna Cerra, RN, DNP, senior vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer.
