Greenwich-based firm of Michael J. Smeriglio III, CPA, announced they have hired Rafael Mandujano as a Staff Accountant. Mandujano joins the firm after graduating from Iona College with Bachelor and Master degrees in Accounting, as well as a Certificate in International Business.
In announcing Mandujano’s hire, Michael J. Smeriglio III, founder of the firm, stated: “As our firm continues to grow, adding an additional Staff Accountant became very important to ensure we could meet our client’s needs. After looking at numerous candidates, Rafael’s experience, education and personality are exactly what our clients are looking for and he will serve them well. Before joining Michael J. Smeriglio III, CPA, Mandujano interned at PricewaterhouseCooper in New York City. He worked in the Wealth Management Tax Service department to ensure quality and timely delivery of over 200,000 tax forms for clients. He also worked on IRS Tax Return notices and reconciled IRS information with the firm’s records.
