YWCA Greenwich Announces New Board Members

YWCA Greenwich announced that eight women will join its Board of Directors.

“YWCA Greenwich has had a very strong and committed Board of Directors, and we are thrilled to have these new members,” said Mary Lee Kiernan, YWCA Greenwich President and CEO. “The current mix of professional expertise combined with a deep commitment to philanthropy, will be instrumental in advancing our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women and girls.”

The new members are: Pamela Frame, Rebecca Gillan, Esther Goodman, Tracy Holton, Nisha Hurst, Susan Reynolds Lehman, Cecilia Lieberman, and Lauren Walsh.

Per the bylaws, all members of the YWCA Board are women. The eight new Board members have deep expertise in industries including economics, finance, government, marketing, legal, education, and human resources. All of new members also have deep commitments to other philanthropic causes.

The YWCA also announced new leadership for the Board of Directors. Karen Morstad will serve as Chair and Shannon Pujadas will serve as Vice Chair.

Morstad is the Principal and Founder of MORSTAD, a local branding, marketing and design firm. She has been a member of the YWCA Board of Directors since 2014.

Pujadas is a certified public accountant with a degree in Accounting and Information Systems. Through her role at PwC, she has supported clients like Pitney Bowes, Perrier, IBM and the United Nations.

“I’m honored to be chair of the YWCA Board,” said Morstad, “and to be working with so many women who are not only talented and successful in their own right but deeply committed to using their talents to help others.”
