The Greenwich Tree Conservancy will hold an Awards Reception for its Awesome Tree Contest finalists on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 3 to 4:30 p.m., at the Bruce Museum.
There were five categories in the contest with more than 100 entries received for which there will be first, second and third prizes awarded, as well as Honorable Mentions. Paintings, photos, poems and stories of trees of Greenwich will be on display.
There will be a guided tree walk with Town Tree Warden, Bruce Spaman, at 1:30 p.m. The event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
