NESC Awards Dinner to Honor Greenwich Residents

The National Executive Service Corps (NESC) will be celebrating its 40th anniversary Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the Round Hill Club. Greenwich residents Susan Bevan and Marv Berenblum will be honored for their NESC leadership and service to the nonprofit community. Ken Bartels will be Keynote Speaker and Jane Condon will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies. Laura and Andrew Prozes are Dinner Committee Chairs.

NESC was founded in 1977 by Frank Pace, Jr., a Greenwich resident, with the backing of David Rockefeller. NESC’s mission is to strengthen and empower the management of nonprofit organizations, schools and government agencies by providing high-quality, affordable consulting services.

NESC honors individuals who have distinguished themselves in their business careers and carve out time for philanthropic activities benefiting their communities.

Bevan has served in active leadership roles in a number of local and national nonprofit organizations. She currently serves on the Advisory Council of NESC and is a Board member of the Breast Cancer Alliance. Bevan has been on the Boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, The Bruce Museum, the Greenwich Council of Boy Scouts, Inspirica and the Greenwich Library. She has served on the Advisory Boards of the Greenwich Historical Society, Greenwich Hospital’s Center for Integrative Medicine and the YWCA of Greenwich. She has also had leadership roles at the Greenwich Country Day School and the Junior League of Greenwich.

Berenblum is a Greenwich native, and currently is the Chairman and President of NESC. He has served in a number of nonprofit leadership roles in Greenwich as President of the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, as Chairman and President of the Greenwich Center for the Arts, as a member of the Advisory Council of At Home in Greenwich, as a member of the Board of the United Way of Greenwich, and as President of the Yale Alumni Association of Greenwich.
