Leanne Meyer, manager of the Rummage Room in Old Greenwich, presented a check of $4,824 to the American Red Cross Harvey Relief Fund from the Grand Reopening Day sales on Sept. 5, to Amanda Paktinat and Brandon Ponder, development team of the Metro New York North American Red Cross.
The Rummage Room is sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Greenwich and proceeds from the gently used merchandise benefit people in need locally, nationally and worldwide. The Rummage Room is located at 191 Sound Beach Ave. Store hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed Sundays.
