Greenwich Hospital will hold its annual Gala fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Greenwich Country Club at 6:30 p.m. to support its comprehensive range of oncology services.

Greenwich Hospital Board of Trustees Co-chairs, Arthur Martinez and John Townsend, III, along with their wives Elizabeth and Marree, are co-chairing the event. “Glow” was selected as the theme for this year’s décor, which will be created by designer Reed McIlvaine of Renny & Reed Floral and Event Designs in New York. Guests will “light up the night” at this black tie evening that will include silent, live and fine wine auctions with dancing to the music of The Billy Stone Band.

During the evening ceremonies, Dr. Philip McWhorter, director of Surgery, will receive the President’s Award for his many years of dedicated service to Greenwich Hospital. “Dr. McWhorter is a pillar of the Greenwich community,” said Norman G. Roth, president of Greenwich Hospital. “Throughout his distinguished 40-year career, his leadership has had great impact on both the patients and staff of Greenwich Hospital.”

Tickets to the gala are available at a variety of levels. To purchase tickets or for more information, please contact the Special Events team at 203-863-3865, by email events@greenwichhospital.org or by visiting giving.greenhosp.org/gala2017
