Greenwich Community Gardens invites the community to its “3rd Annual Big Tomato” event on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Mill Street Bar and Table. This is the non-profit’s only fundraising event of the year, the Big Tomato helps them make healthy food accessible to all.
Guests will mix and mingle in a garden party-like atmosphere while enjoying great food prepared by Chef Geoff Lazlo, plus wines, beer, and their signature cocktail, the “Tomato Crush.” The evening will include live music and a drawing with unlimited opportunities to win a selection of great items.
Your support makes a tremendous difference by enabling Greenwich Community Gardens to promote healthy living through gardening and garden education, and by growing hundreds of pounds of fresh produce each year for their local food pantry clients — so that all Greenwich residents have the opportunity to know where their food comes from, and that it is organically grown.

The event takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Mill Street Bar & Table is located at 230 Mill St.
