To the Editor:
I’m excited that on Sept. 12 we have an opportunity to vote for increased fiscal responsibility in our town government. Karen Fassuliotis has been a strong advocate for the Greenwich taxpayer for 30 years, and she is an important new voice for the Board of Estimate and Taxation now. With Hartford a runaway freight train of spending and denial, Greenwich can expect that even fewer of our tax contributions sent north will ever make it back to fund our municipal needs. We will need to do more with less going forward, and Karen brings a critical eye to that process.
Greenwich taxpayers, you will have an advocate in Karen once she is elected. Please make it to the polls for the Sept. 12 primary to help bring her fresh perspective and balance to the BET.
