The First Congregational Church of Greenwich announces the Grand Reopening of the Rummage Room on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. Be the first to purchase goods of all kinds at bargain prices. Located at 191 Sound Beach Ave. in Old Greenwich, the entire store is restocked with ‘new’ merchandise. Store hours are: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., closed Sundays.
During the past 53 years the Rummage Room has donated more than four million dollars to local, national and world wide benevolent organizations. Donations will be accepted beginning the following day, Sept. 6. The store is operated by Leanne Meyer, manager, three assistant managers and more than fifty volunteers from the church and community.
