The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Squeaky Clean will be performing at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Wednesday, July 19 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.

The musical trio Squeaky Clean has been entertaining summer concert audiences for over thirty years with their unique program of well-loved songs from the golden age of rock and roll.

Fronted by the husband and wife team of Glenn Paul Manion (guitar) and Suzanne C. Smithline (upright and electric bass), the band is renowned for their vocal harmonies, authentic sound and distinctive repertoire, which combines old favorites with forgotten classics. Suzanne and Glenn are joined by New York City stage and studio veteran Phil Leone on drums and vocals.

True to their origin as a rockabilly trio, the program includes songs by Carl Perkins, the Everly Brothers, Patsy Cline and Buddy Holly. Suzanne does a number of songs by the great British female vocalists of the 1960s, including Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark and Lulu. Glenn performs songs made famous by Glen Campbell, such as Wichita Lineman and By The Time I Get To Phoenix.

The band performs spirited renditions of ’60s favorites by the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Motown artists. There are many opportunities to sing along, dance or just sit back and enjoy a great evening of music in a beautiful waterfront setting. Now you can see this fun band in your own back yard in Greenwich. Bring a picnic dinner, a chair, and enjoy some wonderful music under the stars.
