Founded in 1924, the Greenwich Choral Society enriches our community’s appreciation of music through performances of the highest quality and through educational programs that nurture future singers and audiences alike.

As an active voice in the community, Greenwich Choral Society brings choral music to elementary and middle schools in Greenwich, linking performances and discussions to school curricula and classroom programs. The Choral Society has also performed for the Greenwich Exchange for Women’s Work, Stamford Museum & Nature Center, the Greenwich Junior League’s “Festival of Trees,” the Greenwich YWCA, Edgehill and the Greenwich Arts Council’s Curiosity Concerts for young children.

Each year the Choral Society presents scholarships to outstanding young vocalists in their senior year in high school. Under the directorship of Maestro Paul F. Mueller, the Greenwich Choral Society is best known for its concerts, including a series that ushers in the Holiday season, collaborations with the Greenwich Symphony and the Stamford Symphony, and performances of classical and contemporary choral music to audiences in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
