All cyclists and cycling aficionados are invited to Round Hill Community Church on Sunday, June 11 at 4 p.m. in the Community House for the first annual “Blessing of the Bikes” during this month’s “Second Sundays at Round Hill” service. The Rev. Dr. Ed Horstmann will offer a few thoughts, blessings and prayerful words for a safe and fun cycling season.
The Blessing of the Bikes is open to anyone in the community and all are welcome to the interactive Second Sundays monthly service, which features music, casual, inter-generational worship and warm fellowship over a appetizers.
Unicycles, bicycles, tricycles and non-motorized scooters will be blessed. Attendees are encouraged to send their Blessing of the Bikes photos to be posted on the church’s website. Images can be emailed to media@roundhillcommunitychurch.org
