Musicians Share their Passion for ‘Spring Musicale’

Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony

Ten musicians will join together for the Chamber Players’ much anticipated concert-party benefit “Spring Musicale” on Sunday, June 11. The concert, which is the Chamber Player’s principal fund-raising event, will take place at Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Rd., beginning at 5 p.m.

The program will be a light-hearted one, with short compositions by Cherubini, Mozart, Ibert, Rachmaninoff and more. It will include audience favorites from last season and previews of music to come during the 2018-19 season. The talented violinist Deborah Wong will join the ensemble for this concert.

Chamber Players cellist and Artistic Director Daniel Miller boasts of this concert in particular. “With ten of us participating, this will be a fine opportunity to show off the breadth of our group.”

Chamber Players president, Christine Boies recalls, “There is always joy and excitement in the air at this time as musicians and audience members join together for a festive champagne reception at concert’s end, with everyone celebrating the success of the past season and anticipating the next one – the 46th for The Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony!”

Benefit invitations have been mailed. Tickets start at $100. Space is limited. For reservations and/or additional information about The Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony, please call 203-637-4725 or go to greenwichsymph.org/chamberplayers
