Indivisible Greenwich, the local chapter of Indivisible, the national movement created to preserve America’s democracy and counter the Trump agenda, will meet on Tuesday, June 6 at 7 p.m., at the Christ Church, Parish Hall, 254 East Putnam Ave.

The public is invited to attend and join the group’s campaign to promote non-partisan civic engagement in seeking results-oriented action at the federal, state and local levels. Nationwide more than 6,000 groups have organized, at least one in every Congressional district in the country.

“We have been actively working to oppose the Trump agenda and coordinating with state and local organizations on vital issues. The response to Indivisible Greenwich has been outstanding,” said Joanna Swomley, founder of Indivisible Greenwich.

“At the meeting, we will update our more than 400 members on our activities and discuss future plans. We welcome all those who are interested in working to resist the fundamental threats to our democracy and prevent our country from going backwards through racist, authoritarian, inhumane and corrupt practices.
