GEC to Host ‘May Gardeners Market’

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich will hold its “May Gardeners Market” on Saturday, May 6. Now in its 56th year, MGM will feature over 20 dealers who will gather in the Montgomery Pinetum to offer a wide variety of plants, horticulturally inspired accessories and organic food products.

The Cocktail Kickoff Party will take place on Wednesday, May 3 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Greenhouse, and guests will be the first to view and purchase a wide variety of plants including vegetable plants all grown locally for the May Gardeners Market.

This annual fund-raiser supports the Educational and Senior Outreach programs of the Garden Education Center.

The 2017 May Gardeners Market will be held Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, at 130 Bible St. Lunch will be available through Farm to Truck by Christie Caterers LLC focusing on fresh, local, sustainable and gourmet food.
