Greenwich High Boys’ Lax Blasts Vikings 14-2

The Greenwich High School boys’ lacrosse team had little issues getting past Westhill High School Thursday afternoon, coming away with the 14-2 victory.

Leading the way was Jack Feda, who took home five goals and one assist. Not to be outdone was Joe Dowling, who finished with two goals and two assists, while teammate Zach Tucker added two goals and one assist.

Matt Baugher pitched in with two goals, while the group of Jackson Peters, Charlie Graves and Chris Flippin each took home one goal.

Bailey Savio was solid on the faceoffs, winning 14 of the 15 he saw on the day. Andrew Hollander also was strong, going 5-for-6 on the day with faceoff wins.

In net, Andrew Triscari finished with three saves, while Connor Santry added two saves and teammate Teddy Bacon added one save.

Greenwich will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Wilton High School and battle the Warriors at 1 p.m.
