Bruce Museum and Friends of Greenwich Point officially kick off Earth Day Month with a presentation by Amazing Mammals from Animal Embassy & Top to Top Global Climate Expedition, on Sunday, April 2 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., at Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point Park.

Meet live Animal Ambassadors representing a diversity of habitats from around the globe during two 30-minute presentations at 1:45 and 2:30 pm. You’ll explore the softer side of nature with a diversity of small mammals that wear a fur coat suited to their home and, like us, take care of their offspring to teach them all the things they need to know. Get up close to a South American Chinchilla, Lionhead Rabbit, an African Hedgehog and an Australian Sugar Glider. At 3:15 p.m., hear from Top to Top Global Climate Expedition, featuring the Swiss family sailing the globe and scaling the highest peaks on all continents to inspire climate change action.

There will be ongoing activities at the marine tank. Greenwich Conservation Commission, Greenwich Green & Clean and Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board will be on hand. Seating is limited, and on a first come, first serve basis. All ages are welcome.
