Cos Cob Library Offers Genealogy Program

The Friends and Staff of Cos Cob Library welcome a return visit by popular genealogist, Tony Lauriano, Saturday, March 25. He will speak about locating family on ships manifest from 1820 to 1957 and their important role in people’s genealogical searches.

Lauriano has been lecturing on genealogy since 2007, after retiring as Director of Finance for the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens, N.Y. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, and St. Francis College, New York City.

The program will take place in the Community Room of the Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Rd., at 10:30 a.m. Beginning and seasoned genealogists are all welcome. No registration is necessary and the program is free. Refreshments will be available. For more information, call 203-622-6883.
