St. Catherine’s Players Presents ‘The Little Mermaid’

In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. This fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, dance, suspense and comedy as the lively aquatic and human characters help Ariel find her voice.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid is St. Catherine’s Players’ 36th production. A cast of more than fifty, aged eight to 85, and live orchestra bring the Broadway version to Greenwich for its first time. Karen Morello directs and provides musical staging, Rita Lapcevic provides musical direction and Zachary Kampler conducts the orchestra. St. Catherine’s Players is a program of St. Catherine’s Parish.

Performance dates are March 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12, with curtain times of Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 7 and Sundays at 2, at St. Catherine of Siena Lucey Parish Hall, 4 Riverside Ave. Tickets at $21 may be purchased in advance at stcatherinesplayers.com or at St. Catherine’s Parish Rectory at the same address.
