Saks Fifth Avenue The Collective, located at 200 Greenwich Avenue, is the latest rollout of “The Saks Shops at Greenwich,” which will eventually include three stand-alone shops in addition to the main Saks Fifth Avenue.

The stores represent an effort to serve as the ultimate destination for top fashion and beauty for the Greenwich woman.

Opening its doors last Wednesday night for a model-bedecked cocktail reception, The Collective boasts a two-level open floor plan measuring 14,000 square feet, with multi-designer displays consisting of denims, seasonal trends (such as ruffles and stripes, the current fashion trend for spring), jewelry and accessories, and active-wear.

Featured on the main floor is a Tom Ford Beauty counter, where one can polish any fashion-forward glamorous look for day or night. Featured designers include Derek Lam 10 Crosby, L’Agence, and Carven; also available are coveted contemporary brands such as ATM, Kenzo, Public School, See by Chloe, Stella McCartney Denim, and Zoe Jordan.

“We have a very specific point of view with our merchandise, featuring stylish pieces that are truly multi-generational,” said Joe Gambino, vice president and general manager of The Saks Shops at Greenwich.

Roopal Patel, the fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue, who has been with the company for just over a year, was quite pleased with the boutique’s unveiling and the positive feedback she received from an impressive crowd of excited shoppers.

“We offer a well-curated edit of some of the most exciting discovery brands out there, and we are truly bringing the best that fashion has to offer to the Greenwich market,” said Patel.

In addition to sourcing the best in fashion trends, Saks ensures superior customer service by offering complimentary delivery of purchases (including merchandise from the other two Saks shops in town: the main store on Greenwich Avenue, and 10022-Shoe Greenwich, located across the street).

By appointment, Saks sales associates will also bring fashion to its customers by going to her home, hotel or office.

So far, there are no plans to open a men’s boutique.
