Greenwich Gymnastics Upends Wilton 136.5-130.9

The Greenwich High School gymnastics team got back to its winning way on Thursday by upending Wilton High School 136.5-130.9.

Leading the way was Adnerys DeJesus, who took top honors in the all-around competition, posting a score of 37.95. She grabbed first on bars with a score of 9.65, while also taking first on floor with a 9.5. She grabbed gold on both vault and beam with scores of 9.3.

Not to be outdone was Kelsey Fedorko, as she took second in the all-around with a score of 35.4. Fedorko took a 9.1 on the vault, while also posting a second place score of 9.0 on the floor exercise. She grabbed a 8.6 on bars, which was good enough for second and also took second on beam with a score of 35.4.

Allie Trotman also was not to be denied on Thursday, placing third all-around with a score of 30.15. Individually Greenwich had stellar performances from Jessica Freheit, who grabbed third place on bars with a score of 8.3.

In addition to the stellar scores, Big Red also set some career best marks. Juliet Freheit netted hers on the vault and floor, while Nika Sibley did the same on vault. Serena Berman posted a career best on floor, while Kelsey Fedorko, Trotman and Celine Perrin had career best scores all-around.
