This auction will feature many unique pieces of jewelry, furniture and other antique items as well as contemporary designer pieces including a large selection of estate items from local area homes. The dazzling selection includes gold, platinum, diamonds, pearls & sapphires in a variety of styles to suit anyone’s taste.

This is truly an auction for everyone: from classic pieces to statement pieces, each is unique and special, and will stand out all year long A selection of fine jewelry items by Tiffany & Co., Cartier and Hermes will be offered as well.

Along with fine jewelry, there are also many wonderful art and collector pieces available at Greenwich Auction that are sure to please any history connoisseur. Going on a journey through art history, phenomenal Dutch paintings by Philips Wouwerman and Jacob Van Ruisdael will be offered, as well as two letters written by Thomas Edison. For lovers of modern art, a subway tile by Keith Haring and a sketch by Jeff Koons are also up for auction.

A very special piece, especially for those from the Greenwich area, is a bronze by George Thomas Brewster.

Brewster (1862–1943), was a noted American artist and architectural sculptor. It is a portrait of General Israel Putnam. Brewster is particularly known for his portraits, monuments and war memorials. This large bronze plaque was removed from the old Putnam Trust building at the time of its demolition and has been in a private Greenwich home for nearly 40 years.

For those with a penchant for smaller and more whimsical items, there is a large assortment of toys and dolls ranging in age from the 19th to early 20th century, from Germany, France and the United States. Included with the dolls are vintage cars, planes and boats that are all sure to please every child at heart.

In addition to the vintage toy cars, an authentic World War II 1943 Ford GPW Army Jeep. Throughout the vehicle are many “F” markings which is a well-known necessity for collectors. The engine has been rebuilt from scratch, however many parts including an original carburetor were utilized in the rebuilding. Several extras and upgrades come with this vehicle.
