On Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m., The Nantucket Project Library (TNP) Series welcomes author Paul Wolfe who will read from his novel-in-progress, The Book of Mary: The Story of the Lost Diary of JFK’s Lover, Mary Pinchot Meyer. Wolfe will read from his work and then take questions about one of the most fascinating women and conspiracies of our time.

Mary Pinchot Meyer was a lover and confidante of JFK, an LSD explorer with Timothy Leary, the ex-wife of a top CIA official, the sister-in-law of Ben Bradlee, a painter in the Washington Color School and an adventurous woman living among the Cold War Georgetown set. A year after the death of JFK, she was shot execution-style in broad daylight in Georgetown in a still-unsolved murder. Rumors of a secret and perhaps lethal diary linger to this day, but it has never surfaced.

In The Book of Mary, Paul Wolfe is writing that diary.

Paul Wolfe has written in virtually every medium, from fiction and advertising to songs and plays. As an advertising writer and creative director he was named Adweek Magazine’s Writer of the Year twice, penning award-winning campaigns for brands such as Levi’s, BMW, Volvo and JP Morgan. His novel Postcards from Atlantic City has earned numerous 5-star ratings on Amazon.

The Nantucket Project Library is located at 123 Mason St. The series is free of charge, but RSVP is required at nantucketproject.com
