First Selectman Peter J. Tesei extends his best wishes for a safe and healthy holiday to all Town residents.
“The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 when a group of Pilgrims invited members of the Wampanoag tribe, the Massasoits, to join them in a feast at Plymouth Colony. The tradition of a feast to be shared by all, is a tradition that lives on today – 395 years later. It is my hope that all residents of Greenwich are able to enjoy a festive repast with family and friends as we start the holiday season,” Mr. Tesei said.
