Greenwich Auction & Connecticut Antique Center will be hosting two auctions, beginning Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19 and 20 at 11 a.m. The auctions feature nearly one thousand lots of jewelry, silver, fine art, furniture, antiques and decorative objects. This includes everything from fine quality diamonds to artwork and objects by Pablo Picasso and Piero Fornasetti.

David Johnson, owner of Greenwich Auction stated: “this is a great pre-holiday auction. The selection of items is vast and impressive. We have already had a lot of people viewing the catalog on-line. We anticipate their being a lot of interest from Greenwich and beyond.”

Between the two auctions over two hundred and fifty pieces of jewelry will be offered. These items include a large selection of antique and estate items from local homes and collectors as well as designer contemporary pieces. The selection will include pieces by Tiffany & Co, Hermes, Cartier, Bulgari and Seaman Schepps as well as numerous custom made items in platinum, gold, silver with diamonds and gemstones.

Fine artwork to be sold includes American and European oil paintings, bronze statues and Inuit stone carvings. Furniture pieces include period English and American antiques, designer contemporary items from New York’s D & D Building and custom made items.

The full catalog is available online by visiting greenwichauction.net or in print by visiting the showroom. Bidders can participate in the sale room the day of the auction, by leaving absentee bids, registering for telephone bids, or by bidding online on either LiveAuctioneers.com, Invaluable.com or AuctionZip.com.
