On Saturday, Nov. 5, Make-A-Wish Connecticut will be holding its annual Celebrating Wishes Ball, in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., at Greenwich Country Club, 19 Doubling Rd. In their 30 years of existence, Make-A-Wish Connecticut has granted over 2,700 wishes for children who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

This year, Make-A-Wish Connecticut will be honoring two Wish Children at the Ball – six-year-old Quinn, who wished to go to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and 10-year-old Connor, who paired his love for food and travel and wished to go on a Mediterranean Cruise. Quinn and Connor will be joined by over a dozen more Wish Kids who will share their individual stories throughout the evening.

The Celebrating Wishes Ball will include dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and the opportunity to help make wishes come true for more children. Events such as the Celebrating Wishes Ball ensure funding for many of these wishes and play a vital role in the continued success of the organization.

“This event alone is one of the reasons why we are able to grant so many wishes,” shared Pam Keough, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Connecticut. “Because of the generosity of our sponsors and donors we are able to be where we are today, and for that we are all extremely thankful.”

The annual event would not be possible without its incredible sponsors, partners, and committee leaders.
