The Bruce Museum will host its annual “Night at the Museum” event on Friday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. Children are invited to attend the event in their best pajamas for a night filled with arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt, pizza and dessert. Parents will be able to indulge in passed appetizers and an open wine and beer bar, and are welcome to participate in a silent auction with many unique items.

Local businesses partnering with the museum for the family benefit include Meli Melo, Planet Pizza, The Granola Bar, Little Pub, and Val’s Putnam Wines & Liquors.

“Night at the Museum is a fun family event that starts in the early evening. Its’s delightful to watch children in pajamas exploring the Museum’s galleries with their families and enjoying food, entertainment, art-related activities and fun! It has been a sold-out event for several years,” says Whitney Lucas Rosenberg, Director of Development and Institutional Advancement.

During the event, guests will be able to view the Bruce’s current exhibitions including “Her Crowd: New Art by Women from Our Neighbors’ Private Collections” and “Small Scales: Lands of Enchantment.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit children’s education and scholarship programs at the museum. Tickets start at $85 per adult ($95 at the door), and $25 per child over the age of 3 ($35 at the door). Family packages are also available and offer special benefits, such as complimentary museum memberships, private tours of exhibitions and local private art collections and a Bruce Museum blanket.
