To open the fall season, Les Beaux Arts Gallery will feature a collection of landscapes and drawings by Yukio Ishizuka. The exhibit will run through Oct. 19.
Dr. Ishizuka, a Harvard trained psychiatrist, brings to the art field a fresh, positive outlook on landscape painting with vivid, bold colors. Dr. Ishizuka was born in Japan and, in 1965, left for the United States to complete his medical studies. He is a member of Salmagundi Art Club in New York City since 1976 and a resident artist.
Les Beaux Arts Gallery is located in the Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Rd. The Gallery is open Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed Saturday. For more information, visit roundillcommunitychurch.org or call 203-869-1091.
