William Raveis will be hosting its second annual Ride + Walk, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, which actively seeks emerging scientists with the potential to achieve breakthroughs in cancer research.

This year, William Raveis aims to exceed last year’s donation of $500,000 with the generous contributions of the Greenwich and Old Greenwich community. William Raveis thanks local businesses that have helped raise awareness and contribute for the Ride + Walk 2016: Village Barbers, Abis Japanese Restaurant, Putnam Restaurant, Glory Days Diner, Threads and Treads, DeMane Golf Inc., Abigail Fox Designs in Old Greenwich, Garden Catering, and Sound Beach Pizza.

To date, William Raveis has hosted two successful sip and shop nights at Lily and Claudette in Old Greenwich, and are grateful for their generous portions of sales that the owners donated to support the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. Coming up on July 28, Pinky will be hosting a sip and shop night. Nahed Hallaba, Dawn Stuttig, and Stacy Young are co-captains for Team Greenwich/Old Greenwich Ride and Walk. “Nahed, Dawn and Stacy have done a fabulous job of getting the local businesses in Greenwich and Old Greenwich and the agents and community involved in our Ride and Walk. Their energy and enthusiasm is contagious. They work as a team and we could not be more proud of what they have accomplished! Go Team!” says Vicki D’Agostino, Operations Manager, William Raveis, Greenwich and Old Greenwich brokerage.

Partake in the Ride + Walk while contributing to a breakthrough of cancer research by joining William Raveis on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Calf Pasture Park in Norwalk for a 25-mile ride, 12-mile ride, or a 5k walk. A 100-yard dash is available for children, as well. Participants will be able to enjoy festivities such as face painting, food, music, and a raffle.
