USE (Utilize Senior Energy) welcomes two new directors to its Board: Carl Funch (Retired Engineering Executive) and John Onofrio (Treasurer, Financial Industry).
USE is a no fee, non-profit, employment referral service established in 1978.The organization matches seniors (50+) seeking work with employers who wish to hire seniors. The skills available to employers are varied and range from those looking for employment in office situations, retail, home services, caregiving, and home repair.
“The enthusiasm and concern that an older worker brings is invaluable. We find them to be very conscientious and willing to go the extra mile to see that a job is not only done, but is done to the best of their ability. We believe that employers are overlooking a very valuable resource if they have not looked at USE as a source for their workers” said USE President Michael Amoroso.
USE serves Greenwich, Stamford, Port Chester/Rye Brook and the adjacent communities. The office is located at 299 Greenwich Avenue (Greenwich Senior Center) and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
