Kabala to offer final concert

Round Hill Community Church invites the community to a piano recital, “A Musical Feast,” by Christopher Kabala on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. Kabala will play a varied program of works by Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Ives, and Ravel. The two featured works will be Beethoven’s Sonata in F minor, Op. 57, “Appassionata” and Maurice Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit.

Mr. Kabala has been active as a performer, teacher, and lecturer throughout the United States as well as Mexico, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Germany. He holds a Master of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music where he was a student of Konrad Wolff and Leon Fleisher. This will be his final concert at Round Hill. He has been Minister of Music at Round Hill Community Church for the past twenty years.
