Obituary: Carol Lovallo

Carol Lovallo of Greenwich passed away Saturday, May 14. She was 69.

Born in Coraine, N.C., on Jan. 31, 1947 to Frank and Mary Newsome, Carol’s family moved to Port Chester in her youth; she lived most of her life there. Carol spent her career working for the town of Greenwich, and retired in 2010.

She is the former wife of Paul Lovallo, of Port Chester. She is survived by her loving daughter, Paula Becker (Tim); her cherished grandchildren, Paul, Tim, Kristopher (Casey); and her two cherished great-grandchildren, Charles and Chloe. She also is survived by her dear sisters, Joann Williams (Charlie) and Betty Barish (Bill), and by many nieces and nephews. Carol also leaves behind her beloved companion, Bucky Creamer.

The family wishes to thank Dr. James Brunetti for his care.

To honor Carol’s life, family and friends gathered on Tuesday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Greenwich. A funeral Mass took place on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, also in Greenwich. Committal was private.
