Every child dreams of sitting behind the wheel of a fire truck, honking the horn of a dump truck or riding a roaming railroad. Those dreams can become reality at the Junior League of Greenwich’s 16th annual Touch A Truck. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, June 5 at Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rain or shine.

Touch A Truck is a large fund-raiser for the Junior League of Greenwich and draws more than 3,000 attendees each year. There will be activities for girls and boys of all ages. The event includes a variety of vehicles such as traditional construction trucks, emergency and rescue vehicles, cherry pickers, and even fancy cars. Come join the Bossy Frog Band, bouncy castles from New England Bounce About, Filipo Sports and Entertainment, the Roaming Railroad, the Roaming Raceway, Pinot’s Palette, SSDS Kung Fu, and Critter Caravan. Be sure to look for some new participants like East Coast R/C Monster Trucks, Green Moon, the Greenwich Audubon, and the Greenwich Public Schools Dare 2 Care program. Food and refreshments from a variety of food trucks will be available for purchase.

General admission is $30 per family in advance and $40 at the door. Proceeds from the event will benefit the community projects of the Junior League of Greenwich. Advance tickets can be found on at jlgreenwich.org.
