Chaminade Gets Best of Greenwich Boys Lacrosse 15-8

The Greenwich High School boys lacrosse team hosted non-conference opponent Chaminade High School at Cardinal Stadium and were defeated 15-8 Saturday afternoon.

The event against Chaminade, a school located Mineola N.Y., has become a yearly tradition, as both schools have battled each other through the past several seasons.

This this year’s match-up, Will Perry lead Greenwich High School with five goals. Michael Sands added a goal and an assist, while both Jack O’Connor and Bailey Savio each added a goal. In addition to his goal, Savio finished with 13 faceoff victories. Addison Muir finished with one assist.

It was a combined effort between the pipers for Greenwich, as Bennett Cooper finished with seven saves and Andrew Triscari pitched in with four saves.
