On Wednesday, May 11 joint replacement surgeons, doctors Frank Ennis, Jr., Brian Kavanagh and Seth Miller, from Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS) will hold an in-depth discussion on hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgeries. The free symposium will take place in the Noble Auditorium at Greenwich Hospital from 6 to 7 p.m.
Dr. Ennis and Dr. Kavanagh, knee and hip specialists, and Dr. Miller, a shoulder replacement surgeon, will present information about the latest advances in joint replacement including computer-assisted surgery, and minimally invasive, muscle sparing techniques. Information about preparing for joint replacement, pain management and what to expect from the recovery process will be addressed by Greenwich Hospital anesthesiology, nursing and PT department staff as well.
