Prom season is here and McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center is offering a new take on traditional corsages and boutonnieres. Party-goers can find floral arrangements inspired by their favorite celebrities or custom made to match their dresses and tuxedoes.

James McArdle, owner of the long running family business said: “While the idea of corsages and boutonnieres is very traditional, these are not like the one your parents or grandparents wore. Teens today love flowers and making their own custom designs. They spend hours working on every detail.”

McArdle’s is teaming up with the Greenwich High School Girls Swim and Dive teams. A portion of the proceeds of every corsage and boutonniere using the code “GHS Swim” will be given to the teams. McArdle said: “This is a great way to support our athletes and promote florals at the proms.”

In addition to the corsages and boutonnieres, McArdle’s offers floral jewelry, which is a new way to accessorize dresses. Back-laces, necklaces that trail down a backless gown, are dramatic and fun.
