Greenwich locals Bea Carmuega and Sheila Neilinger announced the opening of a group exhibition in Greenwich of Contemporary Latin American artists selected from a well-curated collection of Artemisa Gallery, located in Chelsea, New York City.

Bea and Sheila are originally from Argentina and Brazil respectively, and share an interest in Latin American Art. They wanted to bring to Greenwich more international and contemporary artists. With that in mind, they partnered with Artemisa Gallery and meticulously curated a selection of Latin American artists across a wide array of art genres – sculpture, painting, drawing and mixed media. The show will feature artists Vicky Barranguet, Julio Alan Lepez, Rebeca Mendoza and Martin Pelenur among others.

The exhibition will launch with an Opening Cocktail Reception on Thursday, April 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at 19 East Putnam Avenue. The gallery exhibit will be on view through May 14.

Opening hours are: Monday to Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
