The Brunswick School baseball team topped Kent School 8-2 on the road Saturday, finishing off a busy week of baseball. Brunswick played five games in six days, winning all five, upping its overall record to 7-1 on the season.
The Bruins jumped on Kent early, scoring four runs in the first inning.
The Bruins collected 13 hits on the day, highlighted by Trevor Johnson going 4-for-5 with two RBIs, while Ryan Hanrahan added three hits, including a double and a pair of RBIs.
Connor Redahan and Aaron Sabato had matching two-hit, one RBI days, as each collected a double.
That was enough firepower for starting pitcher Tim Doyle, who earned the win for Brunswick.
The Bruins continue their season on the road with a pair of FAA contests. Brunswick travels to Greens Farms on Monday, April 16, followed by a trip to Rye Country Day three days later.
