Land Trust to Hold Fruit Tree Workshop

The Greenwich Land Trust will hold a workshop on techniques for optimizing the health and yield of fruit trees on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Kevin Wyatt, a certified master arborist from Emerald Tree & Shrub Care, will lead a demonstration on fruit tree pruning practices at the land trust’s Conservation Center, 370 Round Hill Road, Greenwich. This hands-on workshop will focus on training the trees’ structure and maximizing fruit production.

The cost of the workshop is $25 per person for GLT members and $40 for non-members. In case of rain or snow, the event will be postponed to Thursday, March 3.
