Sportsplex Hosted Winter Silver Junior Squash Tourney

This past weekend, Sportsplex Health Club hosted a national U.S. Squash-sanctioned event, The Sportsplex Winter Silver.

Over 70 junior squash players from across the country, from 10- to 18 years of age, came to compete in seven different categories.

Greenwich had several finishers at the top of the podium during the event. Ryan Miele won first place for the Boys U-11, Blake Davis won first place for the Boys U-13 and Ali Hindy took home second place.

Sportsplex congratulates all of the players who came out and participated in the tournament. The next tournament, Sportsplex Spring Bronze, will take play from May 6 to May 8.

Kumail Mehmood, Sportsplex owner, used his many years of experience competing in top-level squash tournaments and vast knowledge of the game to develop one of the top leading programs in the country called FASSP (Finesse, Accuracy, Strength, Speed, Perception).
