“The Strength of all Thy Past” traces a thematic timeline of Greenwich Academy’s189-year history, exploring GA’s early identity as a coeducational institution, its reinvention as a girls’ day school, and its evolution in the arts, academics, and athletics. Highlights include historical footage of a 1930s field hockey game, recorded interviews with GA alumnae, uniforms through the ages, and the diaries of headmistress Ruth West Campbell as she toured Europe each summer. Through a multi-media, interactive display, the development of GA is considered within a broader historical context.

Exhibition dates are: Thursday, Feb. 18 to Tuesday, May 3, with an opening reception on Feb. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Luchsinger Gallery and Jacobs Lobby at Greenwich Academy is located at 200 North Maple Avenue. Gallery hours are: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
