The Greenwich High School PTA will host its annual SummerFare Camp Expo on Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Center, at 10 Hillside Road. The snow date is Jan. 28. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
SummerFare is an event for exhibitors to present materials and talk with public and private elementary, middle and high school students and their parents about summer programs, internships, and camp opportunities.
With nearly 150 summer camps, programs and internships showcased, there will be representatives to help parents find the right program for students, from day and sleep away camps to ventures abroad. They will also find an array of academic programs, sports, visual and performing arts, outdoor adventure, community service programs, computer and special education programs. SummerFare is designed to give families a look ahead to summer and to beat the rush on camp sign-ups. The event is sponsored by the GHS PTA.
