YWCA Honors Martin Luther King on Jan. 14

The 2016 YWCA Greenwich’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, will take place Thursday, Jan. 14, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 259 East Putnam Avenue.

The program will feature Lehman College Professor Mark Christian, the awarding of YWCA Racial Justice Scholarships to Kyla Johnson and Cory Myrtil of Greenwich High School, introductory remarks by YWCA President and CEO Adrianne Singer, an appearance by First Selectman Peter Tesei and other local dignitaries.
