Against an undermanned Trumbull team, the Greenwich High School boys swimmers and divers took first in all 12 events en route to a 112-36 victory.

Senior tri-captain Jack Montesi led the way, winning the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events with great early season times of 22.06 and 48.70 seconds, repsectively.

Sophomore diver Devon Satir turned in an outstanding performance, winning the diving with 289.05 points. Taking advantage of the opportunity to swim many of the team’s top swimmers in other events, the home meet against the Eagles served as a tune-up for Friday’s Ridgefield meet.

The Tigers figure to be among the top teams in the FCIAC, so the 3:30 contest at the GHS pool should provide some of the closest competition of the dual meet season.

Against Trumbull, Big Red had other solid performances.

When it came to relays, the 200-yard medley relay team of Matt Li, Joshua King, Patrick Clisham and Bryan O’Leary took home a time of 1:44.34. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the foursome of Payton Warner, Bryan O’Leary, Russell Winget and Stephan Todorovic won with a time of 1:35.33.

Ending the day, the GHS 400-yard freestyle relay team of Conrad Moss, Bryan O’Leary, Noah Sorensen and King touched the wall with a time of 3:35.58.

In the 200-yard freestyle, Todorovic took home first overall with a time of 1:54.00, while Warner struck gold in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:06.84. Not to be outdone was Aedan Lewis in the 100-yard butterfly, as he won with a time of 56.02.

Lynch took top honors in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.07), while teammate Alex Jahan finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.46.

Rounding out the top finishers was Clisham in the longest event of the day, the 500-yard freestyle. He finished with the gold and took home a time of 5:05.81.
